Giammarco is a young bioengineer; passionate about solving problems at the interface between technology and humans.
He received a BSc. from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 2017 and he is currently enrolled in a MSc. in Bioengineering at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). At the moment, he is working in a biotech start-up in Paris as his master thesis project.
During the past 5 years, he has been part of several academic laboratories in Europe, developing cutting-edge technologies in the field of neuroprosthetics and implantable biosensors.
He has also worked in two international medical devices companies, designing and implementing reliable processes for worldwide products manufacturing.
His experiences in different fields and working environments give him a good understanding of complex dynamics and allow him to analyze problems from multiple points of view.
The interest in entrepreneurship comes from his desire to have a real impact on people's lives and deploy technology to solve the most pressing issues society is facing, especially in healthcare.
