1. Scope
This policy explains how GLOBAL INNOVATION FORUM LIMITED uses cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage and similar technologies on inno-forum.org. Branch sites and third-party services may provide additional notices where they control their own technology.
2. Consent and control
Technologies that are not covered by a valid storage-and-access exception are disabled until you choose the relevant category. Continuing to browse, silence or inactivity is not consent.
- Accept all enables the optional categories shown in the preference centre.
- Reject all keeps optional categories disabled.
- Manage preferences lets you choose by category.
- You can reopen Cookie settings to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Necessary technologies cannot be switched off through the preference centre because they support requested functions, security or consent records. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site may not work correctly.
3. Categories and legal treatment
- Necessary and security: site delivery, sessions, preference records, fraud and spam prevention. Used only where necessary for a requested service or an applicable security or strict-necessity exception.
- Statistics and usability: measure visits, sessions, performance and usability. Disabled until consent unless a documented statistical-purpose exception and all statutory conditions apply.
- Marketing and campaign measurement: measure campaigns, conversions and audiences and support advertising or retargeting. Disabled until consent.
4. Technologies identified in the current review
The following technology was identified in sampled public-page source on 18 August 2026. Provider lifetimes are default or typical values and may be shortened by configuration or browsers. A particular item is set only if the relevant code runs and your consent choice permits it.
Consent platform and WordPress – necessary
Consent-category and policy-version records remember your choices. WordPress may use session, login and security cookies when you sign in or request a protected function. Duration is session or configuration dependent; consent records are normally kept for up to 12 months.
CleanTalk – necessary and security
CleanTalk anti-spam technology may use apbct_*, ct_* and ct_sfw_* cookies and a validation pixel. Most cookies listed by CleanTalk last for the session; ct_sfw_ip_wl may last up to one month. See CleanTalk’s cookie description.
Google Analytics – statistics
_ga distinguishes users and _ga_<container-id> persists session state. Google publishes a default lifetime of two years, subject to configuration and browser limits. See Google Analytics cookie information.
Hotjar – statistics and usability
_hjSessionUser_{site_id} associates visits with a site-specific user ID for 365 days; _hjSession_{site_id} maintains a session for 30 minutes. Hotjar also uses short-lived tests and local or session storage. See Hotjar’s tracking-code cookie information.
LinkedIn Insight – marketing and campaign measurement
The Insight Tag may use li_fat_id, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, lms_ads, lms_analytics and related identifiers for campaign measurement, analytics, matching and advertising. These commonly listed items last 30 days; related LinkedIn items vary. See LinkedIn’s cookie table.
5. International access and third parties
Some providers may process or access information outside the United Kingdom. Our privacy notice explains the safeguards required for restricted transfers. Providers may act as processors, independent controllers or joint controllers depending on the service and configuration.
6. Your choices and rights
