Gian Franco Piredda

Gian Franco is a young and passionate researcher in the field of Biomedical Engineering. He graduated at the Polytechnic University of Turin and he is currently a PhD researcher at the Advanced Clinical Imaging Technology (ACIT) group of Siemens Healthineers located in EPFL Innovation Park. His research focuses on Quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging applications for neurodegenerative disorders and he is strongly enthusiastic about contributing to the establishment of this cutting-edge technology into clinical routine, helping patients and medical professionals in the future. In the same direction, by joining the Innovation Forum Lausanne he collaborates to bridge the gap between research and industry.
