Will West
CEO at CellCentric
Will is CEO of CellCentric, a drug discovery company based in Cambridge. Prior to biotech, he was at Procter & Gamble Healthcare, where he was responsible for clinical development in a number of therapeutic areas, managing programmes across Europe, the Americas, South Africa and China. Will completed his PhD in immunology and virology in 1992, sponsored by Unilever (UniPath). He then held a post-doctoral position at the National Institute of Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC). Will has a Masters degree in Clinical Research and an MBA from London Business School. In 2012 he was appointed to the Council of the BBSRC, the UK’s leading funder of bioscience research. In 2013 Will was elected to the Board of the BioIndustry Association (BIA). He is a co-founder of the investment forum, Angels 4 Life Sciences.
