Andrea Martos
Operations Manager
Andrea (Madrid, 1993) is currently doing a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge and AstraZeneca. The project focuses on antibody
engineering in the context of Neglected Tropical Diseases.
Previously, she obtained a B.Sc. in Biochemistry at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain) and a M.Sc.Eng. in Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. Andrea has worked across three countries in academic environments, start-ups (VenomAb, Denmark), and industry (Iontas, Cambridge). She is an avid cyclist and rower, and enjoys writing popular science at Rewisor.com
At the Innovation Forum, Andrea wishes to collaborate creating a site of convergence between science, business and public policy as she believes these constitute the origin of wealth and prosperity in our societies.
