Description

Collaborative partnerships are becoming increasingly important for successful innovation within the life sciences industry. BioBeat, founded by Miranda Weston-Smith, is a collaborative innovation platform for entrepreneurs and leaders in the biotech industry. Each autumn, at the BioBeat summit, leading women in the life sciences sector catalyse fresh ideas and discuss business topics for growing the sector with the audience. Open to all.

This year, the Francis Crick Institute is generously hosting the BioBeat summit on re-shaping biotech partnering to impact health and wealth. This half day summit is for scientists, entrepreneurs and investors to explore strategies in biotech partnering and opportunities for successful translation of discoveries made in academic laboratories into scientific innovations backed by the biotech industry:

  • Session 1: Partnering Case Study at the Crick
  • Session 2: Catalysing biotech partnering opportunities
  • Session 3: Partnering and careers permeability
