 Innovation Forum is seeking a f/t Senior Sponsorship Sales and Business Development Manager to join the company to develop new business and grow existing accounts.

This role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced sales professional wishing to move up the ladder and take a positive step towards self-development and growing their earning potential. You will be required to identify and present sponsorship opportunities to an array of senior decision makers across healthcare industry as a primary vertical. The focus is therefore to identify leads, build strong value-based opportunities, close business and nurture long term account-based relationships.

This is a high-tempo role that will be ideal for someone who is a natural born sales professional capable of having intelligent conversations with c-level executives and presenting value propositions relating to conference sponsorship and client business development investment.

Requirements

  • Understand specific client challenges in the healthcare and pharma markets we serve
  • Build up a thorough understanding of our products, the industry we operate in and competitors
  • Maintain regular contact with potential clients and formulate innovative, creative sponsorship packages for their business
  • You will need to enjoy cold calling and building new data that will result in leads and potential prospects being developed and then converted into sales
  • A minimum of 12 months’ sponsorship sales-selling B2B is essential
  • Strong communication skills with good administrative skills (to manage leads, pipeline and report upwards) are essential
  • Ability to work within a team and to deadlines
  • Will work well under pressure and be driven to hit set metrics and targets
  • Think outside the box to create value for prospects and clients

The Ideal Candidate

  • A highly motivated and ambitious individual who has a good background and understanding of the healthcare industry
  • A track record in B2B sales (ideally sponsorship or media sales)
  • A solid knowledge of sales processes and/or previous sales training
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients at all levels
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong aptitude for researching and presenting ideas
  • A desire to develop themselves and others as a sales professional
  • Experienced in B2B telesales involving cold calling, account management and deal making at CXO level
